Raffi Vartanian, Inc. (“we”, “us”) operates searchandcommerce.com and is responsible for the personal information described here.
When you send an inquiry
The inquiry form asks for your name, business email, company and message, and optionally your website, revenue range and the service you are interested in. We use this to reply to you and discuss a possible engagement. It is not sold, shared for advertising or added to a mailing list.
To limit spam, the site uses your IP address to count recent submissions. That count is kept for about an hour and is not stored with your inquiry.
Where it is stored
Inquiries are stored in this website’s database, hosted by DreamHost on servers in the United States, and a copy is sent by email to our business mailbox.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Information about an engagement is kept for as long as the relationship and our legal, tax and accounting obligations require.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider’s servers record technical details of each request, such as the IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to keep the site secure and running.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for people who sign in to manage the site. If we add analytics, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any analytics run.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the information you sent us, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@searchandcommerce.com. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will respond to requests as that law requires.
